A Community Effort

Becoming Firewise doesn't end with creating a defensible space on an individual property, but is a broader call to action for an entire community to take the necessary steps to reduce fire fuels on their property, to make the landscape as a whole more resistant to wildfire. That's why at Leavenworth Firewise, our goal is to foster relationships with homeowners throughout the Upper Wenatchee Valley to educate and provide the resources for fire fuels reduction, with the goal catastrophic loss for our clients and their neighbors.

Showing Up When We Say We Will, Doing
What We Say We'll Do

It's a simple philosophy. And yet, we keep encountering homeowners who are surprised when we show up to their job sites at exactly the time we said we would be there or call ahead if we're running late, finish the project on time, and charge them exactly what we told them the project would cost. To us, that's just good business.

About The Owner

Owner Grey Tampa founded Leavenworth Firewise's parent company, Tumwater Tree Service, LLC to practice arboriculture as a means of building relationships in the community and progressing as an ISA Certified Arborist. Tampa loves his job and spends his time off enjoying time on the local rivers, bike trails, and ski slopes.

With his years of experience climbing and rigging for technical tree pruning and removals and the right equipment for the jobs, our crew is well prepared for any tree-related project on your property. Our company realized however, that there was a need in the Upper Wenatchee Valley specifically for a team that was dedicated solely to fire fuels reduction in order to help make our small mountain community more resistant to wildfires, and Leavenworth Firewise was created!
